      Responsible for implementing and maintaining the DRT Aerospace Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with AS9100 requirements and all other customer quality requirements.  Responsible for providing quality leadership to all DRT Aerospace plant functions to drive continuous quality improvement in support of strategic objectives regarding customer satisfaction and overall business performance.

      Responsibilities:

      • Lead the Quality Management team across multiple sites in Quality and Regulatory compliance driving consistency across all DRT Aerospace facilities.
      • Act as the Management Representative for AS9100 and all other Regulatory Requirements
      • Interact with customers as the Executive Quality representative.
      • Implement, ensure compliance and maintain all governmental regulatory requirements including FAR, ISO / AS, ITAR, EAR, ISO 14001, and other statutory and legal requirements.
      • Implement and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with AS9100 requirements.
      • Ensure compliance to all customer quality requirements and programs.
      • Provide technical leadership for GD&T and SPC implementation and interpretation.
      • Provide quality leadership to all functions to achieve customer satisfaction and overall business objectives.
      • Manage the standardized process functions for Quality Control: Final Inspection, Receiving Inspection, and Calibration.
      • Lead and maintain the Root Cause Corrective Action process and system.
      • Lead the continuous improvement program including SPC, Lean, Six Sigma and Certified Quality Operators.
      • Ensure compliance with the quality certification and inspector stamp process.
      • Coach local Quality Management in Internal Audits, Gap Analysis, and Plan Closure
      • Additional duties as assigned

      Qualifications:

      • Minimum of a BS in Engineering or Technology
      • Master’s degree in Management or Engineering preferred
      • Five to ten years’ experience in a similar position
      • Five to ten years’ experience in the aerospace industry as a quality manager or director preferred

      Responsibilities:

      • Follows QP-21 Final Parts Inspection Process to ensure verification of specifications and dimensions of all parts prior to shipment (internal or external)
      • Obtains necessary fixtures and gauging to verify that the parts are within the specified parameters
      • Selects gauging to maximize repeatability and reproducibility of the measured parameters
      • Identifies out-of-tolerance conditions and reports them via a nonconforming material report (NCMR)
      • Inspection of purchased materials and components, verification of certifications and test reports. Assure compliance to PO requirements.
      • Electronic filing of certs and inspection documentation.
      • Shipping of products to customers and outside service suppliers.
      • Review and assure compliance to customer packaging and shipping requirements.

      Qualifications:

      • Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
      • Experience using hard gages including mics, calipers, pin gages, etc. CMM experience a plus.
      • Ability to read & interpret DRT & customer documents and drawings, including the use of GD&T to interpret drawings
      • Experience using Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook. ERP system experience a plus.
