Responsibilities

Programming Coordinate Measurement Machines (CMM). Candidates will analyze models, drawings, sketches and design data of parts, as well as identify tooling and fixtures when necessary.  Create standard work instructions and generate inspection setup sheets to guide the operational steps of the CMM. 

  • Follows Quality Procedures for In-Process and Final Parts Inspection Process to ensure verification of specifications and dimensions of all parts prior to shipment (internal or external).
  • Utilizes the CMM to qualify the program and parts inspected are dimensionally conforming. May also use surface plate, comparator or other dimensional metrology equipment.
  • Selects measurement strategy’s and techniques to maximize repeatability and reproducibility of dimensional parameters.
  • Identifies out-of-tolerance conditions and reports them via a Corrective Action Report. 

Qualifications:

  • Strong programming knowledge using PC-DMIS and use of GD&T experience a MUST
  • Proficient using models and drawings to write programs
  • Experience using PC-DMIS Software or other CMM Measuring Systems
  • Ability to read & interpret detail prints and drawings
  • Machining experience highly preferred (Machining aerospace parts a PLUS)

CMM Programmer

Programming Coordinate Measurement Machines (CMM). Candidates will analyze models, drawings, sketches and design data of parts, as well as identify tooling and fixtures when necessary.  Create standard work instructions and generate inspection setup sheets to guide the operational steps of the CMM. 

 Responsibilities:

  • Follows Quality Procedures for In-Process and Final Parts Inspection Process to ensure verification of specifications and dimensions of all parts prior to shipment (internal or external).
  • Utilizes the CMM to qualify the program and parts inspected are dimensionally conforming. May also use surface plate, comparator or other dimensional metrology equipment.
  • Selects measurement strategy’s and techniques to maximize repeatability and reproducibility of dimensional parameters.
  • Identifies out-of-tolerance conditions and reports them via a Corrective Action Report.

Qualifications:

  • Strong programming knowledge using PC-DMIS and use of GD&T experience a MUST
  • Proficient using models and drawings to write programs
  • Experience using PC-DMIS Software or other CMM Measuring Systems
  • Ability to read & interpret detail prints and drawings
  • Machining experience highly preferred (Machining aerospace parts a PLUS)
  • GD&T knowledge and experience using hand gauging and gauging commonly used for surface plate inspections; i.e., dial indicators, height stands, etc.

Shipping & Receiving Specialist

 Responsibilities:

  • Utilize Customer Portals to ensure orders are received, processed and prioritized
  • Knowledgeable with customer portals and shipping company websites a MUST
  • Create shipping labels, paperwork and documentation from ERP system (BaaN System a PLUS) 
  • Package and ship product per customer specifications
  • Load and unload trucks using pallet jacks and/or forklifts
  • Receive and verify incoming materials and products
  • Move materials and products to and from stock
  • Cycle counting, packing and shipping
  • Drive company vehicles to deliver parts to and from outside service suppliers
  • Issue purchase orders

Qualifications:

  • 3 to 5 Years’ Experience in Aerospace Manufacturing Shipping/Receiving
  • Thorough understanding of types of shipments and associated requirements and paperwork with an ERP system, BaaN preferred
  • Excellent organization, communication, and math skills.  
  • Basic understanding of bills of materials and manufacturing resource planning (MRP)
  • Ability to adapt to our process and systems and incorporate solutions into the company’s infrastructure and operating system
  • Effectively use various ERP sessions for shipping, receiving, material issues, inventory transactions, sales order maintenance, and MRP
