AR and AP Lead

General Responsibilities

  • Ability to lead workflow and coordinate processes for both AR and AP functions at the corporate level.
  • Research and input cash receipt data daily, verify bank deposits and process bank transactions as needed 
  • Work closely with the various sites to ensure proper entry of critical data.
  • Maintain accurate, updated customer and vendor files in the Corporate ERP system.
  • Provide management reports for Sales, Receivables, Collections and Payables.  
  • Manage past-due receivable accounts and notices. Identify and work with delinquent-paying customers.
  • Knowledge of Manufacturing Order-to-Cash process.
  • Research payment discrepancies.
  • Process Accounts Payable payments and approve vouchers.
  • Audit freight bills against freight manifests and other AP analysis.
  • Ability to reconcile accounts to help manage integrity of financial records.
  • Assist in improving Treasury processes.
  • Answer vendor inquiries.
  • Analyze vendor accounts and assist in negotiating extended terms with vendors. 

Qualifications

  • Associates degree or better with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in AR / Invoice Processing.
  • Accounts Receivable experience in manufacturing/production environment a MUST.
  • Accounts Payable experience a PLUS.
  • Working knowledge of ERP systems.
  • Critical thinker with ability to work independently to resolve problems.
  • Strong initiative and highly motivated to do things ‘right’ the first time.
  • Proven leadership ability, attention to detail, time management, communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Team player.

Design Engineer

Summary: Engineer high precision tooling and auxiliary components for customer orders and projects.  Strive for robust designs that are trouble free, provide long life, and are cost effective.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Create part models, assembly models, and detail drawings in accordance with DRT Engineering and Customer Design Standards in three-dimensional CAD packages.
  • Ensure that the design will perform as intended and meets DRT Engineering and Customer Design Standards.
  • Apply good engineering principles as necessary – to maximize component life.
  • Work with manufacturing engineering – to provide solutions and designs that are able to be manufactured at a reasonable cost.
  • Prepare Engineering Change Notices, bills of materials, and Remove and Replace lists.
  • Assist other design, sales, manufacturing, and assembly associates as required.
  • Reports progress on assignments verbally to Engineering Manager as appropriate.


Supervisory responsibilities and relationship requirements:

  • This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
  • Works closely with Engineering Manager to provide information verbally and in writing concerning technical and administrative aspects of assigned projects.
  • Collaborate on solution of field problems where appropriate.


Education and/or experience:

  • BSME or BSMET degree.
  • Familiar with NX (Unigraphics) and AutoCAD a plus
  • Previous design experience a plus.
  • Good written and oral communications skills

Maintenance Technician | Sidney, OH

Maintenance Technician

This position is responsible for performing routine and unexpected maintenance on machines, facilities, and other company assets and property. 

Essential duties include

  • Machine maintenance and repair; including scheduling, ordering replacement parts, troubleshooting, etc.
  • Electrical work: including wiring of offices and machines.
  • Machine rigging; including supervising outside help to move machines per our specifications.
  • Plumbing; including installation, repair and maintenance of air lines and water lines.
  • Assisting in procurement of machine tools – help with accurate machine specifications.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
  • Utilize protective equipment and comply with OSHA requirements including Arc Flash and fire resistant clothing

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Maintain preventive maintenance program and update database. Report status weekly.
  • Submit estimates for repairs as needed.
  • Submit purchase requisitions as needed for repair services and/or parts
  • Complete as needed machine wreck reports
  • Maintain sump and coolant systems.
  • Maintain housekeeping.
  • Implement and maintain predictive maintenance program as submitted by manufacturing technology and quality assurance.

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree or seven (7) years equivalent experience.
  • Trouble-shooting skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of CNC machine maintenance.
  • Supervisory and planning experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of preventative and predictive maintenance programs and systems.
  • PC skills – email, Microsoft Office.
  • General knowledge of OSHA Safety Requirements.
  • Basic writing and verbal communication skills.

Materials Manager

Responsibilities

  • Oversight of raw materials through finished goods in compliance with company policy and AS9100 regulations and production requirements.
  • Leads Production Control, Purchasing, and Shipping/Receiving teams.
  • Analyzes customer demands and oversees level-load schedules. Communicate status of job orders on regular basis.
  • Effectively carry out all responsibilities of a managerial role, including requirements pertaining to performance management, employee development, interdepartmental cooperation, EEOO/AAP Diversity, and leadership.
  • Directly supervises materials and shipping personnel: To include interviewing and training new employees; planning, assigning and directing work; addressing complaints and resolving issues.
  • Extensive knowledge of ERP/MRP principles and materials management. Address production demands (production and purchase orders), schedule changes (reschedule reports), and reduction in demands (cancelation reports) on a consistent and regular basis.
  • Working with Manufacturing and Quality departments to ensure integrity and shipping requirements are met.
  • Perform inventory management per in-process and customer demands, for timely delivery and minimizing transportation charges.
  • Ensure inventory levels are accurate and current – by completing cycle-counting on an annual basis and evaluating the inventory for obsolescence.
  • Ensures adherence to applicable Aerospace internal, federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to compliance and takes responsibility to ensure ongoing conformity with such rules and regulations
  • Ensuring the ERP system, through the supply chain parameters, is effectively set and maintained to provide the highest quality planning for operational execution.

Requirements

  • Associates degree or equivalent experience and 3 + years in aerospace or precision machining/manufacturing with a MINIMUM of 1 year supervisory
  • APICS/MAPICS training preferred.
  • Proven leadership, organizational, analytical, and communication skills
  • Well organized, able to multi-task with a high level of attention to detail
