Senior Accountant

General Responsibilities

  • The monthly closing process includes creating and posting Journal Entries, valuing inventory at the lower of Cost or Fair Market Value, reconciling general ledger accounts, site reporting, management analyses, etc.
  • Provide guidance to manufacturing locations to ensure compliance with company policies and GAAP
  • Analyze manufacturing costs and prepare reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs
  • Maintain fixed asset records and provide necessary fixed asset reporting
  • Perform daily and monthly cash reconciliations
  • Manage and reconcile all Divisional intercompany accounts.
  • Maintaining Cost Accounting System by establishing standard costs and updating them as appropriate for certain sites
  • Interface with internal departments to compile financial data for consolidation reporting requirements
  • Provide critical support for monthly financial closing and production of financial reports to ensure timely and accurate reporting
  • Compile financial data for corporate tax reporting at all governmental levels

Director of Quality & Regulatory Compliance

Responsible for implementing and maintaining the DRT Aerospace Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with AS9100 requirements and all other customer quality requirements.  Responsible for providing quality leadership to all DRT Aerospace plant functions to drive continuous quality improvement in support of strategic objectives regarding customer satisfaction and overall business performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Quality Management team across multiple sites in Quality and Regulatory compliance driving consistency across all DRT Aerospace facilities
  • Act as the Management Representative for AS9100 and all other Regulatory Requirements
  • Interact with customers as the Executive Quality representative
  • Implement, ensure compliance and maintain all governmental regulatory requirements including FAR, ISO / AS, ITAR, EAR, ISO 14001, and other statutory and legal requirements
  • Implement and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with AS9100 requirements
  • Drive utilization and standardization of CMM platforms and processes
  • Drive utilization and standardization of corporate CAPA system

      Key Responsibilities:

      • Build strong relationships and interact at all levels of a customer’s organization to support all customer activities.

      • Assist with the development of business cases for new business opportunities and then present and seek approval from required levels of DRT Aerospace and DRT Holdings.

      • Assist with budgets and forecasting of revenue, and profit for DRT Aerospace in support of DRT’s Profitable Growth Plan.
      • Negotiate final terms and conditions with new business prospects in coordination with VP Sales and Marketing, Engineering, Quality, and the DRT Aerospace Leadership.
      • Address all information on the Regional Sales Dashboard.  Including, order targets, win ratio, order book, and delivery targets.
      • Able to travel 50-75% of the time.

      Position Skills/Experience:

      • Minimum of seven to ten years strategic account management experience, preferably with Fortune 100 accounts, employing a consultative selling methodology and selling complex solutions to achieve quantifiable business benefits
      • Minimum of 5 years Aerospace/Defense experience
      • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or other technical relevant disciplines, preferred
      • Demonstrated success in selling and negotiating large, multi-year deals and in building and executing strategic account plans
      • Documented success in meeting or exceeding revenue plans, consistently ranking within the top 20% of your company.
      • Mastery of executive strategic sales techniques as they apply to national accounts in diverse industries
      • Ability to analyze and evaluate territory dynamics to develop and implement sales plans

      Account Executive

      Key Responsibilities:

      • Build strong relationships and interact at all levels of a customer’s organization to support all customer activities.
      • Develop new and creative business opportunities for aviation OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers.
      • Assist with the development of business cases for new business opportunities and then present and seek approval from required levels of DRT Aerospace and DRT Holdings.

      • Assist with budgets and forecasting of revenue, and profit for DRT Aerospace in support of DRT’s Profitable Growth Plan.
      • Negotiate final terms and conditions with new business prospects in coordination with VP Sales and Marketing, Engineering, Quality, and the DRT Aerospace Leadership.
      • Address all information on the Regional Sales Dashboard.  Including, order targets, win ratio, order book, and delivery targets.
      • Able to travel 50-75% of the time.

      Position Skills/Experience:

      • Minimum of seven to ten years strategic account management experience, preferably with Fortune 100 accounts, employing a consultative selling methodology and selling complex solutions to achieve quantifiable business benefits
      • Minimum of 5 years Aerospace/Defense experience
      • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or other technical relevant disciplines, preferred
      • Demonstrated success in selling and negotiating large, multi-year deals and in building and executing strategic account plans
      • Documented success in meeting or exceeding revenue plans, consistently ranking within the top 20% of your company.
