          Requirements

          • Locates lost or misplaced tools and equipment

          • Marks and identifies tools and equipment
          • Prepares tooling into job kits for VMCs
          • Breaks down returned job kits, inspects, and measures tools, holders, and setting equipment for defects and wear and reports damage or wear to supervisors

          • Routinely cycle counts inventory in Cribware software

          Qualifications

          Essential Duties:

          • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and instructions. Verify conformance of parts to stock list and blueprints, using instruments such as calipers, gauges, and micrometers
          • Lays out hole locations and drills and tap holes on parts for assembly
          • Aligns components for assembly, manually or with hoist, and bolts, screws, dowels, welds, or rivets parts together, using hand tools, rivet gun, and welding equipment, or arranges for assembly by welder and electrician
          • Verifies alignment and tolerance of moving parts, using measuring instruments such as dial indicators and thickness gauges
          • Frequently performs inspection of precision parts
          • Tests operation of assembly by hand
          • Inspects finished work to required specification
          • Deburrs and hand finishes parts per specifications using established procedures
          • Uses a wide variety of basic deburr and hand finish tools, both electric and pneumatic such as (right angle grinder, orbital sanders and hand finish tools and equipment)
          • Ensures all parts of paperwork (documentation) is completed properly and enters, as required
          • Performs rework assignments, as required

          CNC Maintenance Technician

          Focus of this Position: Perform routine and unexpected maintenance on machines, facilities and other company assets and property.

          General Responsibilities

          • CNC Machine maintenance and repair; including scheduling, ordering replacement parts, troubleshooting, etc.
          • Electrical work: including wiring of offices and machines
          • Machine rigging: including supervising outside help to move machines per our specifications
          • Plumbing; including installation, repair and maintenance of air lines and water lines
          • Planning company vehicle maintenance
          • Assisting in procurement of machine tools – help with accurate machine specifications
          • Utilize protective equipment and comply with OSHA requirements including Arc Flash and fire-resistant clothing
          • Maintain preventive maintenance program and update database and report status weekly
          • Submit estimates for repairs and purchase requisitions for repair services and/or parts
          • Complete as needed machine wreck reports
          • Maintain sump and coolant systems
          • Maintain housekeeping

          Qualifications

          • Extensive knowledge of CNC machine maintenance, CMM Inspection Equipment a PLUS
          • Supervisory and planning experience preferred
          • Knowledge of preventative and predictive maintenance programs and systems
          • General knowledge of OSHA Safety Requirements.

          • Select appropriate coatings, paints, or sprays and prepares them by mixing substances according to formulas, using paint mixing equipment
          • Verifies conformance of finished work piece to customer specifications
          • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work environment following all safety standards and requirements
