General Responsibilities

  • CNC Machine maintenance and repair; including scheduling, ordering replacement parts, troubleshooting, etc.
  • Electrical work: including wiring of offices and machines.
  • Machine rigging; including supervising outside help to move machines per our specifications.
  • Plumbing; including installation, repair, and maintenance of air-lines and water-lines.

  • Maintain housekeeping.

Qualifications

  • Extensive knowledge of CNC machine maintenance, CMM machining a PLUS.
  • Supervisory and planning experience preferred.

We are seeking experienced Assembly or Deburr to work either the traditional Monday through Friday OR an option of FOUR- 10-hour days – Enjoy Fri, Sat, Sun off!!

Essential Duties:

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and instructions. Verify conformance of parts to stock list and blueprints, using instruments such as calipers, gauges, and micrometers. 
  • Lay out hole locations and drills and tap holes on parts for assembly.
  • Align components for assembly, manually or with hoist, and bolts, screws, dowels, welds, or rivets parts together, using hand tools, rivet gun, and welding equipment, or arranges for assembly by welder and electrician.
  • Verifies alignment and tolerance of moving parts, using measuring instruments such as dial indicators and thickness gauges.
  • Frequently perform inspection of precision parts. Test operation of assembly by hand. Inspect finished work to required specification.
  • Deburr and hand finish parts as required by specifications by using established procedures, machines, and tooling.
  • Use a wide variety of basic deburr and hand finish tools, both electric and pneumatic such as (right angle grinder, orbital sanders and hand finish tools and equipment).
  • Ensure all parts paperwork (documentation) is completed properly and enter as required.
  • Perform rework assignments as required.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1+ years of CNC- Assembly -Metal Hand Finishing or Deburring experience

Sheet Metal Fabricator

Entry Level – Will Train for 2nd shift

This position will set up and operate equipment/machines used to fabricate sheet metal components made from steel, aluminum, and stainless steel and to assure that the parts are being produced to the drawing specifications.

Responsibilities:

  • Sets-up and operate fabricating machines such as cold saw, drill presses, and brake presses
  • Basic blueprint reading – Understanding specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work piece, sequence of operations, and setup requirements
  • De-burr, grind and finish with hand tools or power-driven equipment A PLUS
  • Verifies conformance of finished work piece to customer specifications
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work environment following all safety standards and requirements
  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks as required

Qualifications:

  • Machining, Welding or Press Operation experience A MUST
  • Blueprint reading – A PLUS
  • Working knowledge of metrology instruments (calipers, micrometers, ruler, and height gauge) Required
  • Strong math skills A MUST

Painter / Powder Coater

This position is responsible to set up and operate equipment/machines used to paint or powder coat components made from steel, aluminum, and stainless steel and to assure that the parts are being produced to the drawing specifications.

Responsibilities:

  • Blueprint reading and specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work piece, sequence of operations, and setup requirements
  • Sets up and operate equipment and/or machinery used in the painting and/or powder coat process
  • Understands paint/powder coat procedures and successfully demonstrates ability to control speed, air pressure, air circulation and flow of spray of coatings and paints
  • Perform visual inspections of parts to determine proper paint flow and coating quality
  • Select appropriate coatings, paints, or sprays and prepares them by mixing substances according to formulas, using paint mixing equipment
  • Verifies conformance of finished work piece to customer specifications
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work environment following all safety standards and requirements
  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks as required

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma
  • 3 years’ experience
  • Blueprint reading
  • Operating basic metrology instruments (calipers, micrometers, ruler, and height gauge)
  • Basic math skills
