      • Follows QP-21 Final Parts Inspection Process to ensure verification of specifications and dimensions of all parts prior to shipment (internal or external)
      • Obtains necessary fixtures and gauging to verify that the parts are within the specified parameters
      • Selects gauging to maximize repeatability and reproducibility of the measured parameters
      • Identifies out-of-tolerance conditions and reports them via a nonconforming material report (NCMR)

      The successful candidate will also be trained to assist in the shipping/receiving area as needed.

      • Manages approximately four subordinate supervisors who supervise a total of 12 employees in the Mechanical Systems Auxilliaries, Electrical Engineering, Tooling Engineering — Main Die and Tab Die, and Engineering Operations.
      • Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units.
      • Interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; maintaining co-op relationships with local colleges/universities; addressing complaints and resolving

      Qualifications:

      • Bachelor of Science in Engineering; four to ten years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
      • Must be proficient in 3d modeling, integrated CAD/CAM experience preferred.
      • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
      • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
      • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

      Account Executive

      • Meet with customers weekly – to maintain seamless and accurate information flow
      • Communicate internally – the customer priorities, demands, and future opportunities
      • Address customer request-for-quotes
      • Estimate date of delivery to customer, based on quoted lead-times, quantities, and existing capacity constraints
      • Quote prices and lead-times – using the ERP system
      • Enter sales orders – using the ERP system
      • Respond to customer problems/correspondence via the phone or email
      • Prepare reports of business transactions and keeps expense accounts
      • Enters new customer data and other sales data for current customers into the ERP system
      • Develops and maintains relationships with purchasing contacts
      • Investigates and resolves customer problems with deliveries – using the ERP system reports and planning tools – should address 80% of all customer questions
      • Attends trade shows

      Qualifications

      • Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
      • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
      • Ability to write reports, business correspondences, and procedure manuals
      • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
      • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
      • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
