Benefits Administrator

The ideal candidate would be responsible for all benefits administration, reporting, and enrollment, maintenance of ADP’s benefit HRIS system; which includes all of DRT Holdings, Inc. benefits such as medical, dental, vision, life, HSA/FSA, short/long-term disability, and 401k.

Specific duties include

  • Will be a part of the team that partners with our broker, carriers, and third-party administrators to discuss plan design, changes, additions or deletions to our benefits portfolio.
  • Answers questions, compiles and provides information and solutions for employees.
  • Reconciles invoices for all benefit providers.
  • Administration, tracking, and approval for all leaves of absence including but not limited to short-term disability, long-term disability, FMLA, bereavement, and military.
  • Understanding of ACA and will work with employees as needed regarding ACA coverage.
  • Administration of COBRA with a third-party administrator.
  • 401k administrative duties such as annual audit, enrollment, loan, rollover, and withdrawals for employees.
  • Processes necessary paperwork for claims and reporting as needed for all states in which DRT operates. (Ohio: Self Insured/BWC, Travelers for other states)
  • Works with a third-party administrator to pay or settle claims.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of benefits administration, workers compensation and LOA experience in the manufacturing industry preferred. ADP experience preferred.
  • PHR and/or SHRM-CP preferred.
  • Excellent customer service, communication, and listening skills.
  • Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask and also assist the HR department in any other initiative or project as needed.

Accounting & Purchasing Administrator

Responsibilities:

  • Processes purchase requisition to purchase order by data entry via purchase order fields and all vendor receipts through the ERP system.
  • Maintain data integrity via computer skills for all Purchasing-related data including cost, safety stock, lead-times, minimums, multiples, supplier data and other purchasing ERP fields.
  • Buys a variety of goods and services through negotiation, vendor management, value analysis and the development of vendor/company relationships.
  • Develops new vendors through vendor research, evaluation and performance. Coordinates vendor approval with Quality control and existing processes and procedures.
  • Orders goods and services through the ERP purchase order system by quote, bid or MRP system; orders product to meet company specifications.
  • Expedites the delivery of purchase orders with the supply base.
  • Manages performance issues including NCMRs with supply base.
  • Approves invoices for payment.
  • Communicates with various departments to maintain a constant flow of materials and processes.

  • Check drawings to ensure that the design will perform as intended and meets DRT Engineering Standards.
  • Apply good engineering principles as necessary – to maximize component life.
  • Work with manufacturing engineering – to provide solutions and designs that are able to be manufactured at a reasonable cost.
  • Prepare Engineering Change Notices, BOM’s, and Remove and Replace lists.
  • Assist other design, sales, manufacturing, and assembly associates as required.
  • Reports progress on assignments verbally to Lead Engineers and Engineering Manager as appropriate.
  • Be thoroughly familiar with and execute Engineering Standards for customer orders and projects.

Qualifications:
